Bonds Across by Mavua Lessor
Above are a selection of paintings by the talented, Mavua Lessor. His exhibition, ‘Bonds Across’ continues until Friday 15th October 2010. It’s impressive and definitely worth a trip to the gallery.
BONDS ACROSS, an exhibition by Mavua Lessor | Terra Kulture | October 9 - 15 2010
The being that is human: a core that is spirit with several outer cloaks. Free will, homogeneity and attraction have formed and divided us into classes of colour, language, faith, religions, etc. But inside we remain the same - the human spirit.
Only that which bears on intuition can penetrate the spirit. The emotional response of all people across the divisions, to works of creative inclination, explains and confirms the unism and oneness of humanity. Art is a connector of humanity. The universal language of pictures transcends all material barriers. Everyone senses, speaks and understands this unique language of creation.
To connect and to unite, such is the force of feeling behind this instrument of bond. I have tapped and drawn from this force to reach and to draw you even when you are beyond my material senses.
